“Pigment Pick” is a series of entries that will feature the MAC Pigments I own. At least one Pigment will be posted, or “picked”, every month (or more often if I can swing it) and I will try to share whatever Pigment colors I own, almost all of which are samples. A lot of them will be limited edition, but you can try Makeupalley to find them.
Aurora is one of those colors that I really like but I can’t make it work for me very well. It’s a loverly shade of brown, a very frosty and slightly pink-tinted brown which looks more taupe when light hits it as it has a strong grey sheen. As I happen to love brown (and taupe) eye shadows, I was immediately drawn to this color. Part of the limited edition Daphne Guinness Collection, it was the one among the three Pigments released with that collection, that I liked the most right away. And I do really like the color, but I don’t like the color on me.
Pairings suggestions: Dark Soul Pigment, Electra, Espresso, Naval, Nocturnelle, Patina, Satin Taupe

Have a suggestion for the next MAC Pigment to be featured? Let me know!
